Maryland’s top court has delved into the world of social networking in overturning a murder conviction and 50-year prison sentence. In a 5-2 decision, the Court of Appeals said a judge improperly admitted into evidence an incriminating threat to a would-be trial witness that was purportedly posted on the MySpace page of the defendant’s girlfriend.
