Vincent “Vinny” Smith, a software executive who twice was CEO of California-based Quest Software, has pledged $4 million to Mount Saint Joseph High School, from which he graduated in 1982, the Catholic college preparatory school for young men announced.

EMMITSBURG — The charitable arm of PNC Financial Services Group says it’s pledging a quarter-million dollars to support economics education at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg.
