Taverns’ pay deal on hold as judge looks into legal fees (access required)

A judge in Baltimore has held up the $115,000 settlement of a labor lawsuit against a Federal Hill tavern owner because the portion earmarked for the plaintiffs’ lawyer — $100,000 — was not well-documented and “likely not reasonable.” Judge Richard D.
