How can I be considered for a 20 in Their Twenties awards?
Nominations can be made by anyone, including yourself. An application is automatically emailed to all nominees and must be completed and returned to The Daily Record in order to be considered for this award. A letter of recommendation is not required, but is encouraged to assist the judges in making their decision.
To be eligible, applicants must live in or work in Maryland at the time of judging.
Can I win multiple times?
No. Once you have won Twenty in their Twenties, you cannot win a second time.
Can I save the nomination and application forms while working on them?
Unfortunately you cannot at the moment, but we’re working to fix that. In the meantime, we suggest either filling out the forms on a separate sheet of paper first or being prepared to spend some time on the forms.
Who are the judges and what are they looking for when selecting the 20 in their twenties awards?
The judges are winners from the previous year. They look for professional accomplishments, community service and the impact of their achievements.
Should I have a letter of recommendation sent?
Letters of recommendation are strongly encouraged but not required

Yes, but the tables are limited so please email [email protected] as soon as possible for more information.
What is the format of the event?
This event is strictly networking and the awards program. It is held in the sculpture garden at Gertrude’s at the Baltimore Museum of Art. There are both indoor and outdoor networking areas. There is no sit down dinner, but there are passed and stationed hors d’oeuvres, bar and dessert. There are only reserved tables for our sponsors. However there are some small tables for guests to have a seat. Please email [email protected] with any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Are children allowed?
Yes, a child’s ticket is $40, plus tax. Children under the age of 13 can be registered with a child’s ticket.
Do winners sit with guests?
There is no sit down dinner for this event, but there are some tables for open seating during the networking and limited sponsorships available with seating.
Do winners have a speaking role?
No, there is no speaking role for winners. They walk onto stage when their names are called to receive their awards.
Do winners need to purchase a ticket?
No, winners do not need to purchase a ticket, but all other attendees must.

Can a deceased person be a nominee?

I believe it’s sometime next month. You will get an email from us.
