Slideshow: Stevenson’s new mock courtroom (access required)

  1. Thanks for posting these first photos ever of tomorrow’s courtroom technology, today. Stevenson University will be using the courtrooms to help forensic students gain expert witness skills.

  2. It may be new to Stevenson, but it’s not new generally.

    William and Mary (Marshall-Wythe School of Law) has been home of the Center for Legal and Court Technology (formerly Courtroom 21, which was started together between W&M and the National Center for State Courts). W&M’s technology courtroom has been around since 1993. W&M’s McGlothlin Courtroom has been hailed (or at least marketed) as the most technologically advanced courtroom in the world.

    And, the U.S. District Court of Maryland is an affiliate. The court allows the law students to e-file their mock pleadings.
