ROCKVILLE — The Maryland Public Service Commission is holding public hearings on the reliability and quality of Pepco, a utility that has been criticized recently over electrical power outages that have lasted for days after storms.
The first hearing will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the Montgomery County Council building on Maryland Avenue in Rockville. The second hearing is at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Hallam Theatre at Prince George’s Community College on Largo Road in Largo.
On Friday, Pepco officials unveiled a website that customers can visit to monitor work progress and details of its reliability enhancement program. The website — http://www.pepco.com/energy/reliability/ — will list work areas, status of the projects and timelines.
Pepco serves customers in Washington, and Prince George’s and Montgomery counties.
