O’Malley and Ehrlich agree to second debate

ANNAPOLIS — Gov. Martin O’Malley and Republican former Gov. Robert Ehrlich have agreed to a second debate.

Rick Abbruzzese, O’Malley’s campaign spokesman, confirmed Friday that the Democratic incumbent has agreed to debate Ehrlich on Larry Young’s radio show live on WOLB on Oct. 21 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Henry Fawell, Ehrlich’s communications director, also has confirmed the debate.

The two candidates, who are running in a rematch of the 2006 governor’s race, have their first debate scheduled for Monday

That hourlong debate will take place at the studios of WJZ-TV in Baltimore. It will be taped at 10 a.m. for broadcast at 7 p.m. that night.
