Medicare, Medicaid agency to move to Windsor Mill office

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will occupy part of a former pharmaceutical company manufacturing building in Windsor Mill that is being transformed into office space, it was announced by Lutherville-based Preston Scheffenacker Properties, the landlord.

The General Services Administration negotiated and signed the 10-year lease for 74,216 square feet of office space at 7205 Windsor Boulevard.

The 251,000-square-foot former Actavis pharmaceutical building, renamed Windsor Station, has been redeveloped as a single-story, Class A office building containing approximately 200,000 square feet of rentable space.

Woodlawn-based CMS is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
