Agents find $100K worth of drugs on Baltimore ship

Federal agents have found more than two pounds of cocaine and heroin in a locker aboard the cruise ship Enchantment of the Seas in Baltimore.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says a drug-sniffing dog found two packages of heroin and one package of cocaine on Saturday. The combined street value is about $94,000.

The agency said Tuesday that no arrests have been made.

Ricardo Scheller, the border security agency’s Baltimore port director, says cruise ships are a prime target for drug smuggling.

On Sunday, agents fined a Carnival Pride passenger $500 for possessing marijuana under a zero tolerance policy.
