ANNAPOLIS — Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley will be giving his annual State of the State speech before a joint session of the General Assembly.
O’Malley’s speech at noon on Thursday will be his fifth State of the State speech. It gives the governor a chance to speak directly to the 188 members of the Legislature.
Shaun Adamec, a spokesman for the governor, says the speech will focus on choices the state needs to make to prosper in changing economic conditions.
