TOWSON — Baltimore County police say a toilet found outside a county building with a cell phone and several notes attached to it is not dangerous.
Police spokesman Lt. Robert McCullough says investigators have a lead on a possible suspect, but he declined to provide details.
McCullough says the toilet decorated with a collage of images and notes was found on the sidewalk outside the building that houses the offices of the county executive and county council in Towson Monday morning. He didn’t provide any details on the contents of the notes.
He says the toilet had a radio or television transmitter and cell phone attached and the materials were arranged to give the impression the toilet might contain an explosive device, but explosive materials were not found.
