ANNAPOLIS — Maryland Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger says he has viewed photos of Osama bin Laden that carefully compare images of the al-Qaida leader when he was alive with ones after he had been shot by Navy SEALs.
Ruppersberger, the top-ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, viewed the photos Thursday at CIA headquarters in Langley, Va., for about 20 to 30 minutes.
The congressman says “there is absolutely no question in my mind that was Osama bin Laden.”
Ruppersberger says arrows placed on the photos compared bin Laden’s facial features, including his nose, birthmarks, ears and lips.
He says he saw photos of bin Laden’s entire body, as well as ones of him being prepared for burial and just before he was buried at sea.
