The Johns Hopkins University said it is launching a new master’s degree program, Master of Education in the Health Professions, in the fall.
A unique collaboration of the Johns Hopkins’ schools of business, education, medicine, nursing and public health, the program will prepare health professionals for roles training new workers to address anticipated staffing shortages in American hospitals, clinics and doctors’ offices.
The degree program will take two years and a summer residency to complete, with the first year in a classroom setting with Web and technology enhancements, and the second year offered online.
A one-year certificate format is also available.
