If there is one thing we’ve learned over the past three years [it’s] that there is no such thing as too big to fail. The Prince George’s community witnessed that reality in July 2009 when Rosecroft Raceway closed their doors.
It’s exciting to see the progress at Rosecroft since that day two years ago. Penn National Gaming, the new owners of Rosecroft, have already committed to investing over $12 million in the purchase and renovation of the racetrack. This is a great start. We look forward to seeing the opportunities that come next as live racing and simulcasting return to Rosecroft Raceway.
