Funeral planned for slain Bowie State student

WASHINGTON — A funeral service is being held in southeast Washington for a Bowie State University student who was stabbed to death in her campus apartment.

Family and friends are gathering to say goodbye to 18-year-old Dominique Frazier, of Washington, on Friday at Assumption Catholic Church on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. A private service for family members will be held at 10 a.m., and the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m.

Prosecutors say Frazier was stabbed to death last week by her roommate, 19-year-old Alexis Simpson, after the women argued about music playing from an iPod. Simpson has been charged in the slaying.

  1. I HOPE YOU HANG… HER. …KILLING SOMEONE OVER A STUPID IPOD,MAKES NO SENSE WHAT SO EVER

  2. The general public has no idea of what transpired and probably will. One life is lost andanother many will never be the same. Anyone thinking this tragedy was “over an IPOD” is naive of the behaviors of The American Teenager…Rest in peace Dominique and remain strong Alexis.
