On September 29th, nearly 300 employees of Dairy Farmers of America Inc., spent the day volunteering at Real Food Farm and the Reach Partnership School near Clifton Park in the Belair Edison neighborhood of Baltimore city. The effort managed by Business Volunteers Unlimited Maryland through Civic Works, helps the urban farm prepare the land for the winter and performing site maintenance and beautification projects. Here David Park, of DFA Kansas City and Dale Mills, Berkshire Dairy, Pa., shovel gravel into wheel barrows for their team to spread along a driveway for trucks to access the farm. A million thanks to our friends from Dairy Farmers of America and Civic Works for making this day possible! We are so proud to have a fantastic partner in Civic Works and the honor to work with socially conscious companies like Dairy Farmers of America. It’s hard to fathom that this photo captures a mere 3% of the work that was accomplished yesterday! Thanks for featuring our project, Daily Record!
