COPT sells properties in Woodlawn, White Marsh

COLUMBIA — Corporate Office Properties Trust of Columbia, a real estate investment trust focused primarily on properties in office parks close to government facilities, announced it sold several buildings to an unidentified buyer or buyers for $48.75 million.
The properties are a 13-building portfolio in the Rutherford Business Center in Woodlawn for $32.5 million, and a warehouse and land at White Marsh Commerce Center for $16.25 million. The Rutherford package, containing approximately 365,400 square feet, was 79 percent leased as of Sept. 30, 2011.
The White Marsh sale included a 218,000-square-foot warehouse that was 100 percent leased as of Sept. 30, and 13.4 acres of land.
