Gas line break delays trains through Baltimore

Amtrak is seeing brief delays through Baltimore after workers ruptured a gas line near Penn Station.

Workers performing work for Amtrak ruptured the line Thursday afternoon. Amtrak spokeswoman Danelle Hunter says trains are using one track through the station and that is delaying trains by three to 10 minutes through Baltimore.

Baltimore Gas and Electric is having trouble turning off the line and is telling area residents to leave their homes and call BGE if they smell gas.
