Jennifer Benward, CPA, and Naomi Pinson have joined the audit and accounting team of Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates, of Baltimore, as staff accountants. Benward has five years of experience as a staff accountant working for private manufacturing and healthcare companies. Pinson, who has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park, previously worked for the Reznick Group.

Joseph Smith, of Owings Home Services, recently was installed as president of the Home Builders Association of Maryland. Smith has more than 30 years of expertise in both commercial and residential construction and his experience involves new construction and remodeling and is certified as a graduate remodeler, aging in place builder and green professional. In 2010 he received the association’s Remodeler of the Year award.
AARP Maryland has added two new leaders: Kelli Holsendolph is the new associate state director for communications. She previously was the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s media relations manager for Montgomery Parks. Tammy Bresnahan is now the association’s associate state director for advocacy. She had worked for the Maryland Department of Human Resources since 1986, most recently as director of government affairs. Bresnahan has a bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University.
Ray McGuire has been appointed vice president of supply chain strategy by TBB Global Logistics. McGuire previously was director of global trade compliance and operations for Celanese International Corp. Founded in Baltimore in 1946, TBB Global Logistics provides supply chain management services. It is headquartered in New Freedom, Pa., and has offices in Hanover, Md.
