Elliott D. Petty has been elected a member of Hodes, Pessin & Katz, of Towson.
Petty is part of the firm’s medical malpractice group and has substantial experience representing health care professionals and institutions in complex medical malpractice litigation in state and federal court. He also represents individuals, business entities, insurers and homeowners in personal injury, contract actions and insurance actions.
Petty has trial experience in Baltimore City and its surrounding counties, and has handled matters in Maryland’s appellate courts.
After graduating from law school he clerked for Judge Kathleen G. Cox of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.
Petty is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Ethics Committee, and is a volunteer attorney with Maryland Volunteer Legal Services and a member of his firm’s volunteer committee.
