Donna Booth, M.D., F.A.C.S., is now seeing patients at Katzen Eye Group’s Bel Air location. Booth, a board-certified ophthalmologist, will provide a variety of services to patients in Harford County including cataract surgery, anterior segment ophthalmology and dry eye services. Booth will join six practitioners at the Bel Air location, which opened its doors in November 2011 at a temporary location and will move to a permanent location in the spring.
Booth, a member of the Katzen Eye group since 1994, is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Maryland State Medical Society, among other organizations. She received a Bachelors of Science in chemistry in 1977 from Mary Baldwin College, where she graduated with honors. Booth completed medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1981 and then studied at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in the Ophthalmology Selective program.
Booth completed her internship in internal medicine at the Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, and held her ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine, where she was a chief resident.
