4 charged in fatal shooting at Towson Town Center

TOWSON — Baltimore County police say four men caught on surveillance video trailing a teen through Towson Town Center mall just days before Christmas have been charged in the fatal shooting of the teen just steps from the mall.

Police announced the arrests in the slaying of 19-year-old Rodney Pridget on Thursday.

Surveillance video shows 35-year-old Jermell Brandon encountering Pridget in a store and calling 31-year-old Frank Williams. Williams then drove 19-year-old Tyrone Brown and 44-year-old William Ward to the mall, where police say the men communicated by phone while following Pridget through the mall.

Police say Brown shot Pridget multiple times on the sidewalk outside Nordstrom as he left the mall.

All four men are charged with first-degree murder. Police say Pridget was targeted, but they don’t yet know why.
