Dyslexia association names Tridas board president

The Baltimore-based International Dyslexia Association has named Dr. Eric Tridas president of the organization’s board of directors. Trias has been a member of the board since 2002 and has served as the organization’s vice president since 2009.

Tridas, of Tampa, Fla., is a developmental and behavioral pediatrician and a clinical assistant professor in family practice at the Universityo f South Florida School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in ambulatory pediatrics, child development and learning disabilities at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Boston. During that time he held an appointment as a teaching fellow at Harvard University Medical School.

Tridas completed his residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
