Roques named Keswick CEO

Keswick has named Carmel Roques as its new chief executive officer, replacing Libby Bowerman, who retired at the end of 2011.

Roques most recently served as chief operating officer for Virginia United Methodist Homes. In the early 1990s, she worked as she worked as the director of adult day care and director of home care services for Catholic Charities in Baltimore and then served in various executive roles for Episcopal Ministries to the Aging.

Roques resides in Columbia with her husband, Steven Beall. She is a yoga teacher and practitioner and enjoys local classical theater, particularly Shakespeare.

Keswick is a nonprofit with corporate offices at the Keswick Multi Care Center in North Baltimore that include a nursing care facility, sub-acute rehabilitation center, an assisted living memory care facility and adult day care program.
