Ben Beres GBMA February 2012 — Ben Beres

Bennett J. “Ben” Beres has been named chief operating officer for Greater Baltimore Medical Associates, a group of more than 40 multi-specialty physician practices.

Beres will oversee GBMA’s operations in practices on the Towson campus of the Greater Baltimore Medical Center hospital and at offices across the region.

Previously Beres was COO of Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, Vt. He has also held leadership positions at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire and at Boston Medical Center, Quincy Medical Center and New England Baptist Hospital in Massachusetts.

Beres earned a graduate certificate in public health from the Harvard University Extension School and the School of Public Health and a bachelor of arts degree from Drew University.
