Daniel S. Koch has joined Miles & Stockbridge as a Counsel. He will work in the corporate practice group in the firm’s Rockville office.
Koch, who was previously with Paley Rothman in Bethesda, will practice government contracts law, including both counseling and litigation, and technology licensing and complex service provider contracts.
For more than 25 years, Koch has advised government contractors, particularly professional services and information technology firms, on the full range of government procurement issues.

Daily commute: 10 miles, reverse direction (Chevy Chase to Rockville), usually a quick 20 minutes.
Recent vacation: Riviera Maya, Mexico — four days on an idyllic beach at an all-inclusive resort; third time for my wife and me, second time with another couple of neighbors.
Hobbies: Avid duplicate bridge player, bicyclist; touring wine country with a bicycle!
Favorite book: Too hard to pick just one.
Most recently read: “The Detachment” by Barry Eisler – the most recent of a series of noir-ish thrillers by a former lawyer and CIA agent. Very well-written entertainment.
Favorite food: Chocolate of course; and just about any of the frequent accomplishments from my wife, Leah Brasch’s, hobby of researching and actually cooking elegant, delicious, light and healthy cuisine.
