Hope Connections appoints new members to boards

Hope Connections for Cancer Support, a nonprofit organization helping people with cancer and their loved ones deal with the emotional and physical impact of the disease, has named new members to its board of directors and medical advisory board. Barbara Bey, Ellen Byington and Neil Simon have been named to the board of directors. Bey is a Washington, D.C. resident who consults with insurance companies, women's organizations and public policy groups on retirement issues. She is a breast cancer survivor. Ellen Byington is a Bethesda resident and co-founder of Acquired Data Solutions, a systems integration and testing company. She is a breast cancer survivor of three years. Simon is a Potomac resident and vice president of Blake Real Estate. He is also a cancer survivor.
