Dwight Im, a gynecologic oncologist and director of the Gynecologic Oncology Center at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, recently received a Patients’ Choice Award for 2011, his fourth consecutive one.
Dr. Im also received the Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award in 2010. The awards are based on patients’ online ratings compiled by MDx Medical Inc.
Dr. Im completed his residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has completed specialized training in robotic surgery and uses the minimally invasive technique.
In 2010, Dr. Im was named the first gynecologic oncology epi-surgeon in the U.S.; he trains surgeons worldwide in this technique.
