Carr joins Northrop Grumman as executive

Robert Carr

Robert A. Carr, a retired U.S. Army brigadier general, has been named Northrop Grumman Corp.’s corporate lead executive for company business in Fort Meade and Aberdeen. He will be the company’s primary interface with customers, industry partners and business leaders in the region and will represent Northrop Grumman in the community.

Carr served 31 years with the Army, most recently as director, Defense Counterintelligence and HUMINT Center, Defense Intelligence Agency. He was commissioned through the ROTC program at Stetson University in 1980 and earned a master of public administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

His military education includes a master of science degree in strategy from the U.S. Army War College, the Military Intelligence Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and the U.S. Army War College.
