ANNAPOLIS — Tours of the historic Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse in Maryland will be resuming this month.
The tours will take place on six Saturdays this summer. The first tour will be on June 30.
Over the past five years, the Annapolis Maritime Museum has taken nearly 2,000 visitors on guided tours of the lighthouse in partnership with the U.S. Lighthouse Society and the city of Annapolis.
The lighthouse is about one-and-a-half miles offshore on the Chesapeake Bay near the mouth of the South River.
