DiPietro promoted at Morris & Ritchie Associates

Amy G. DiPietro, P.E., LEED AP, has been promoted to associate at Morris & Ritchie Associates.

As an associate and civil project manager at MRA’s Abingdon office, DiPietro’s primary responsibilities include ensuring strict adherence to the client’s schedule, managing the engineering budget, and coordinating all design approvals and permits with the appropriate jurisdictions and government agencies. In addition, she maintains a synergistic relationship with project contractors to alleviate issues during construction, and is known for her energetic and aggressive approach to project management.

DiPietro’s design capabilities include commercial, industrial and residential land development design. She is responsible for the civil design of state highway improvement projects, commercial and industrial project layouts, and feasibility/due diligence studies. DiPietro has design experience that includes storm drain, water and sewer design, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, erosion and sediment control, grading, stormwater management and 378 embankment design, breach analysis, wetland mitigation and stream restoration design.

DiPietro is a Maryland registered professional engineer and a LEED accredited professional. She received her bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Tech. DiPietro is a member of the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Green Building Council, and is a young leader in the Urban Land Institute of Baltimore.

Current projects that DiPietro is working on include: Home2 Suites by Hilton of Aberdeen, Hickory Station, Aston Pointe, and Principio Business Park. Recent high-profile projects Ms. DiPietro has worked on include: Aberdeen Corporate Park, Kelly Glen, Ridgely Forest and The Village at Swan Creek.
