Breezing to victory at Young Lawyers’ Sun Run

OCEAN CITY — Sixty-four runners braved strong headwinds Friday morning and finished the 23rd annual Young Lawyers Sun Run during the Maryland State Bar Association’s Annual Meeting in Ocean City.

In one of the closest finishes in race history, Alan Eisler, of Meyers Eisler LLC in Bethesda, won the men’s 5K with a time of 22:20, less than a second ahead of the second-place finisher, Nicholas Snyder.

Jill Green, the director of the Attorney Practice Internship Program and associate director for law career development at the University of Baltimore School of Law, won the women’s 5K with a time of 22:24.

Eight people completed the 10K. Brad McCullough, a principal at Lerch, Early & Brewer Chtd. in Bethesda, finished first with a time of 49:36.

Amy Malone was the top female finisher in the 10K with a time of 54:57.
