Drew Cook and Laurens MacLure Jr. have been appointed to the board of trustees at the Hannah More School Foundation.
Cook is vice president of Berman McAleer financial advisors in Timonium, where he develops and implements customized financial plans and conducts investment research for clients. He is a registered representative and investment advisor representative with NFP Securities Inc. and holds a life and health insurance license with the state of Maryland.
In addition, Cook serves on the board of Hannah More School, where he chaired the Board Resource and Nominating Committee and was a member of the Finance Committee. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland College Park. Cook lives in Federal Hill.
MacLure is a director of the Robert W. Deutsch Foundation in Towson. Previously, he was president and CEO of RWD Technologies, after serving as RWD’s senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Prior to joining RWD Technologies, MacLure was senior vice president and general counsel for Pioneer EyeCare Inc. He also held positions with PHH Corporation and operated a private legal practice.
Among his community service, MacLure served on the board of Hannah More School, where he also served as chair. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University. MacLure lives in Reisterstown.
