Steel, Rogers promoted at Bonnie Heneson Communications

Mary Steel and Brian Rogers have been promoted at Bonnie Heneson Communications.

Steel has been promoted to senior graphic designer. Steel, who has a background in fine arts, specializes in hand illustration, drawing and painting in addition to computer graphic design.

She takes projects from concept to print, including newsletters, brochures and ads. In addition, Steel designs organizational branding, tackles unique projects that require original art and coordinates printing.

Steel is a member of the Baltimore chapter of The Professional Association for Design. She earned a degree in graphic design at Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg, Pa. She also earned a degree in fashion design at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where she won the best-of-quarter award for fashion illustration.

Rogers has been promoted to creative director. Rogers leads BHC’s award-winning graphic design team from art direction to print production. He has more than 14 years of experience in graphic design, art direction, fine art and photography. He specializes in creating unique logos and identity design, photo retouching and manipulation, and strategic organizational branding.

Prior to joining BHC, Rogers served as senior graphic designer and project manager at VBP OutSourcing, a full-service marketing firm in Glen Burnie. Previously, he was senior graphic designer at Renegade Productions in Hunt Valley and art director at Kelly Michener, now Cimbrian Marketing, in Lancaster, Pa. Rogers has also freelanced for organizations in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Rogers is a member of the Baltimore chapter of The Professional Association for Design. He earned a degree in graphic design at Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts, now the Art Institute of York, in York, Pa.
