A vital component to the General Assembly’s gambling agreement last week came as something of a surprise to the director of the Maryland State Lottery Agency.
But the nonprofit veterans organizations that now get to operate electronic bingo machines are pleased with the revenue the machines should generate for American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts.
