Hadjolian joins SECU

Sevan M. Hadjolian has joined SECU – Maryland’s largest state-chartered financial cooperative – as assistant manager of the credit union’s Bel Air branch.

In his new position, Hadjolian will be responsible for supervising Bel Air branch staff, performing monthly audits, opening all types of accounts and loans, handling member service and meeting monthly goals with respect to branch performance.

Hadjolian previously served as branch manager with Susquehanna Bank. He initially was responsible for business development and loan origination for Susquehanna’s Old Philadelphia Pike branch, increasing branch deposits from $10 million to $17 million.

He was then named branch manager at Susquehanna’s Neffsville branch. Focusing on effectively staffing branch operations and cross training personnel to ensure high quality and efficient customer service, Hadjolian turned the branch operation around, increasing loans and branch deposits.

Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Hadjolian was an assistant branch manager and financial advisor at HSBC Bank in New York. The Lancaster, Pa., resident receives undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Economics in Varna, Bulgaria.
