Officials to discuss UMB, UMCP partnership

ADELPHI — Maryland higher education officials will be talking about how a partnership between the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and the University of Maryland, College Park.

University System of Maryland Chancellor William Kirwan will host a news conference on Tuesday in Adelphi.

He will be discussing progress under the University of Maryland: MPowering the State. He also plans to announce plans for the University of Maryland Collaborative School of Public Health.

University of Maryland, College Park President Wallace Loh and University of Maryland, Baltimore, President Jay Perman also are scheduled to attend.
