Scalingi, Zahn joins Ayers Saint Gross

Michael Scalingi and Eric Zahn have joined Ayers Saint Gross as architects.

Scalingi previously worked with Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill, the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Wiedemann Architects, and Shorieh Talaat Architects. Scalingi also served for six years in the U.S. Navy followed by 10 years in the U.S. Naval Reserves.

Scalingi earned his bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering technology from Thomas A. Edison State College and his master’s of architecture from the University of Maryland.

Eric Zahn returns to Ayers Saint Gross after having previously worked with the company from 2008 until 2010. During Zahn’s time away from the company he returned to school to earn his master’s of architecture II from Yale University. He earned his bachelor of architecture from Syracuse University.

Before joining Ayers Saint Gross in 2008 Zahn worked for Holmes King Kallquist & Associates Architects. Zahn’s writing and design work has been featured in Retrospecta: The Yale Journal of Student Work and Metropolis.
