Murphy, Shulim, Aud join Planit

Caitlin MurphyCaitlin Murphy, Scott Shulim and Adam Aud have joined Planit, a Baltimore-based communications, marketing and interactive agency.

Murphy joins Plaint as social media supervisor. She previously worked at North Carolina–based Mullen Advertising as media relations supervisor, leading accounts such as Men’s Wearhouse, Kumon, CSX Transportation and BASF. Murphy graduated magna cum laude from University of Florida with a degree in public relations and a minor in business administration.

As the newest member of the social media team, Murphy will help manage social media accounts, including Mally Beauty, AGCO, McCormick, and Royal Building Product’s Exterior Portfolio division. She will increase the social media team through new business and assist in bridging the PR and social media departments. When she’s not figuring out clients’ challenges with her social media team, she’s enjoying SCUBA diving and dancing.

Scott ShulimShulim joins Planit as a copywriter. He has more than 20 years of experience from a variety of agencies and marketing departments in Baltimore, New York and the West Coast. As the newest addition to Planit’s copywriting team, Shulim will generate ideas and provide interactive and print content for many of Planit’s clients, including Barclays, Remedi, Mally Beauty, New Horizons, Royal Building Products and Marriott.

Before beginning his career in marketing, Shulim earned his bachelor’s degree from Hunter College in media communications with a concentration in journalism and film theory, and continued his education at the School of Visual Arts in New York. He has won many awards for his work, including the 2009 Regional Gold ADDY for the 2008 Maryland film festival trailer and poster, and the 2011 Regional Silver ADDY for a 2010 Euro RSCG self-promotion.

Adam AudAud joins as a designer most recently working as a senior designer for CDR Fundraising Group in Bowie on nonprofit accounts like Wounded Warrior Project and Toys for Tots. Adam graduated with his degree in Graphic Design and Visual Arts from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and will now use his skills to help Planit create a variety of print campaigns.

In his spare time he plays the banjo with his band, The Manly Deeds.
