Morgan State has just completed another disappointing football season, finishing 3-8, and the university apparently plans to replace head coach Donald Hill-Eley, the Baltimore Sun reported. However, Hill-Eley had not been told by anyone in the Morgan administration that he was losing his job. Instead, he found out by accidentally receiving an email that contained a timetable for finding his replacement.
“I don’t know what’s going on,” Hill-Eley told the Sun.
The coach, who has a year left on his contract, said he did get an apology from athletic director Floyd Kerr for forwarding the email. Hill-Eley said he told Kerr, from now on, communicate about his job status with the coach’s agent.
We’re guessing Kerr will be extra careful when he types in the agent’s address.
