Former Frostburg student gets 14 years for murder

CUMBERLAND — A former Frostburg State University student is starting a 14-year prison sentence for fatally stabbing another female student during an off-campus fight in 2011. Twenty-five-year-old Shanee Liggins of Waldorf was sentenced Monday in Cumberland. The judge suspended six years of a 20-year sentence.
