T. Rowe Price Inc., of Baltimore, a global investment management company, said it launched a new Social Security Benefits Evaluator to help individuals decide when and how to take Social Security, and how the federal social insurance program fits into their financial goals.
The calculator not only estimates Social Security income, but also presents potential approaches for taking benefits based on the users’ goals, and allows them to compare results of different Social Security strategies.
The company said it developed the benefits calculator in response to the need of individuals to consider how Social Security fits into their overall financial planning.
