SWET, Dallas energy company partnering

Solar Wind Energy Tower Inc., an Annapolis-based company (formerly Clean Wind Energy Tower Inc.) that is planning to build very tall cylindrical towers in Arizona and Northern Mexico to generate clean, renewable energy, said it is collaborating with Providence Energy Corp., a privately owned company in Dallas, on development of the first downdraft tower in San Luis, Ariz.

Providence Energy owns and manages over 4 million net mineral acres in 34 states, with royalty and working interests in over 20,000 producing wells. In a statement, SWET officials said Providence Energy “has taken a position” in their company, but did not disclose the exact nature of the relationship
