HAGERSTOWN — An aircraft maintenance school in Hagerstown is celebrating an expansion.
The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics is cutting a ribbon Monday to open its new 18,000-square-foot building at Hagerstown Regional Airport.
The school had been leasing about 15,000 square feet in a nearby building.
Campus Operations Director Gary Hoyle said in September that the school was making a long-term commitment to the area.
The school is based in West Mifflin, Pa. It opened its Hagerstown campus in 2011.
