Exelon Corp. makes management changes

Exelon Corp., of Chicago, parent company of Baltimore-based energy company Constellation, announced that Kenneth W. Cornew, formerly executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Exelon, and president and CEO of Constellation, has been promoted to senior executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Exelon, and president and CEO of Exelon Generation, commanding one of the largest electric wholesale and retail power generation companies in the U.S.

He will be based at the Exelon Generation headquarters in Kennett Square, Pa. Joseph Nigro, formerly Constellation’s senior vice president, portfolio management and strategy, succeeds Cornew as Constellation CEO, responsible for energy-related products and services to Constellation customers in 45 states, the District of Columbia and parts of Canada.

He will remain based in Baltimore.
