Seacrets, a Jamaican-themed entertainment complex in Ocean City that claims to draw 800,000 visitors a year, has bottled its own honey mustard sauce for sale in more than 150 Giant Food stores in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Washington, D.C.
The sauce was originally concocted as a topping for Seacrets’ Jerk Chicken dishes.
According to Seacrets owner and CEO Leighton W. Moore, it proved so popular that patrons started walking off with it.
“I knew we needed to get it on grocery store shelves so our Ocean City customers could enjoy its unique taste right at home no matter the time of year,” Moore said in a prepared statement.
A 16-ounce bottle sells for $5.99.
