Lockheed Martin awarded contract by CDC

Lockheed Martin Corp., of Bethesda, a global provider of aerospace, defense, security and advanced technology services, has been awarded a contract to provide information technology and emergency operations planning and support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office of Public Health and Preparedness.

The multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling value of $400 million over five years.

Lockheed Martin said its relationship with the CDC extends back over 13 years.

Lockheed Martin has provided around-the-clock IT and emergency operations to OPHPR during public health incidents and normal operations since 1999.
