The Arc Baltimore has named its award winners for 2013.
James A. List, a Towson solo practitioner, received the Volunteer Service Award. List has served on List has served on The Arc’s Board of Directors for the past seven years and has been the board president since 2011.
Neil MacDonald, vice president of operations at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital, received the Special Appreciation award for his work, including introducing Project SEARCH at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital.
Kenneth Greene, M.D., of Greater Baltimore Medical Center, received the Professional of the Year Award. Greene is the primary physician for many of the individuals supported by The Arc Baltimore.
Virginia Knowlton Marcus, executive director of the Maryland Disability Law Center, received the Award for Advocacy Leadership. The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding advocacy and leadership on behalf of persons with developmental disabilities.
