Lockheed Martin Corp., of Bethesda, a global provider of aerospace, defense, security and advanced technology services, announced it has acquired Amor Group, a Glasgow, Scotland-based company specializing in information technology services for the energy, transportation and public services sectors.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Privately held Amor Group’s products help protect oil and gas production assets; ensure the effective operation of airports; and enable government agencies to deliver important services to U.K. citizens.

The acquisition will expand Lockheed Martin’s capabilities and expertise in international information technology, civil government services and the energy market, Lockheed President and CEO Marillyn Hewson said in a statement.
