Del. Heather Mizeur appears to have selected her running mate in her bid for Maryland governor in 2014.

The Washington Post reports that Mizeur will announce that Delmon Coates, senior pastor at Mount Ennon Baptist Church in Clinton, Md. will round out her ticket.

Coates, 40, has been outspoken on a number of issues including access to health care and same-sex marriage in the state, according to the paper.

Mizeur, a Montgomery County Democrat, is expected to make the announcement at a campaign event Wednesday night in Silver Spring.

In June, Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown announced that Howard County Executive Ken Ulman would be his running mate. Last month, Attorney General Douglas Gansler selected Prince George’s County Del. Jolene Ivey to round out his ticket.
